Teshia is a massive hot gas giant orbiting close to Iris-9. Its thick hydrogen-helium atmosphere reaches temperatures above 600°C, with powerful magnetic activity surrounding the planet. Six moons once orbited Teshia, but the innermost was torn apart into a ring.
Why is this a Gas Giant?Your planet has 94.7% hydrogen and helium, combined with a mass of 26.0x Earth, which exceeds the gas giant threshold.
Gas giants form when massive cores capture enormous atmospheres of light gases. They typically form beyond the 'frost line' where volatiles can condense.
